Please be advised, if you have a fully or partially accepted claim but your pro rata entitlement under the Plan of Allocation is less than CAD$10.00, you did not receive payment per the terms of the Plan of Allocation.

A settlement has been reached in the Manulife Financial Corporation securities class actions that allege Manulife Financial Corporation ("MFC") misrepresented the adequacy of their risk management practices and failed to disclose the extent of the Company’s exposure to equity market and interest rate risks.

MFC has agreed to pay C$69,000,000. The settlement is a compromise of disputed claims and is not an admission of liability or wrongdoing by MFC.

The settlement has been approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Québec Superior Court (the "Courts"). The Courts have appointed Crawford & Company and Garden City Group, LLC as the Administrators of the settlement. To be eligible for compensation pursuant to the settlement, class members must have submitted a completed Claim Form to the below address, postmarked no later than October 9, 2017 (the "Claims Bar Deadline"):

If you did not file a claim by the Claims Bar Deadline, you may not be able to claim a portion of the settlement and your claim may be extinguished.
